Build Your Legacy

Legacy Hoops was built on a simple belief: Access creates opportunity. Results belong to those willing to put in the work—the habits you build today become the legacy you leave tomorrow.

More than a basketball and pickleball facility, Legacy Hoops exists to provide athletes and families with opportunities to train, compete, connect, and grow while building a positive impact that extends far beyond the court.

Our Mission

To create opportunities for athletes and families to develop skills, build confidence, and grow through sports in an environment centered on access, community, and continuous improvement.

Our Vision

To inspire athletes and families to build their own legacy by creating opportunities for growth, connection, and positive impact that extend far beyond the game.

The Legacy Hoops Story

Legacy Hoops was built on a lifelong connection to basketball and a deep belief in the impact youth sports can have on a community.

There’s a reason behind the name.

For me, it starts with family, the game, and the community that helped shape both.

My grandfather, Carl Giordana, gave so much to the game and to those around him—teaching lessons that extended far beyond basketball. Discipline, work ethic, and being part of something bigger than yourself were always at the core of what he stood for.

But beyond the story, there was also a clear need.

Over time, it became evident that one of the biggest challenges for young athletes isn’t effort or motivation—it’s access.

Access To:

  • A consistent place to train
  • A structured environment
  • Opportunities to put in meaningful work

Legacy Hoops was created to fill that gap.

A Need for Greater Access

One of the biggest inspirations behind Legacy Hoops was the simple idea that athletes and families should have more opportunities to access quality gym space.

Our communities are fortunate to have excellent schools and athletic facilities, but for most individuals and families, those gyms aren’t available for regular personal use outside of organized team activities.

The alternatives are often limited. Community gyms can be crowded, court availability is inconsistent, and reserving space for individual workouts is rarely an option.

As a result, many athletes are left practicing in their driveway, searching for an open hoop at a local park, or trying to find gym time whenever and wherever they can.

Legacy Hoops was created to provide another option.

With 16 total hoops available throughout the facility, access was a foundational part of the vision from the very beginning. The goal was to create a place where athletes could consistently find space to work on their game, whether that means getting up a few hundred shots, working on ball-handling, or simply spending more time around the sport they love.

Access creates opportunity. Results belong to those willing to put in the work—the habits you build today become the legacy you leave tomorrow.

Legacy Hoops isn’t about looking back—it’s about building forward.

  • A place where athletes can train with purpose
  • A place where families feel connected and supported
  • A place where development is structured—not left to chance

Legacy Hoops isn’t just about access to a gym.

It’s about continuing something meaningful and creating something the community can grow with.

Ownership & Vision

Legacy Hoops was created by Ryan Giordana, a lifelong Kaukauna resident with a strong connection to the game of basketball and an even stronger belief in the positive impact it can have on young athletes.

The Family Behind Legacy Hoops

Ryan has been married to his wife, Rebecca, since 2012. Together, they are raising their two children, Rowan and Reece, and reside in Combined Locks, Wisconsin.

While Ryan is often the face of Legacy Hoops, this facility is truly the result of a shared family vision. Rebecca, who serves as the Director of Engineering for a medical device manufacturer, has been a tremendous source of support throughout the planning and development of Legacy Hoops.

Like many families throughout the Fox Valley, much of their lives revolve around youth sports, school activities, and supporting their children as they pursue their passions. When they’re not working, the Giordana family enjoys spending time together at Ryan’s father’s lake house, attending their children’s sporting events, and creating memories with friends and family. They are also passionate Wisconsin sports fans who enjoy cheering on the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers whenever they get the opportunity.

Legacy Hoops is more than a business venture for the Giordana family—it’s an opportunity to create something meaningful that will positively impact athletes, families, and the community for years to come.

As both a parent and coach, Ryan has experienced firsthand how powerful sports can be in a child’s life. Basketball teaches much more than shooting, passing, and dribbling. It teaches confidence, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and the value of hard work.

Over the years, Ryan developed a passion not only for the game itself, but for helping young athletes grow their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for basketball.

While Legacy Hoops isn’t built on a professional playing career or college accolades, it is built on something just as important—a genuine passion for teaching the game, a commitment to helping athletes improve, and a belief that development happens when players have consistent opportunities to learn, practice, and compete.

As both a parent and coach, Ryan understands the challenges many families face when trying to find quality gym space and meaningful opportunities for their kids to train outside of organized practices.

That understanding helped shape the vision for Legacy Hoops.

The goal wasn’t simply to build another basketball facility. The goal was to create a place where athletes of all ages and skill levels could consistently access the gym, put in the work, and enjoy the process of improvement.

Professionally, Ryan comes from a background in finance, bringing a detail-oriented and structured approach to building and operating Legacy Hoops.

That same mindset is reflected throughout the facility—from the shooting cages and court layout to the membership structure and scheduling model—creating a well-organized, accessible, and reliable environment for athletes and families.

Every aspect of Legacy Hoops was designed with one goal in mind: providing athletes with more opportunities to train, develop confidence, and build a lifelong connection to the game.

Core Values

Consistency Creates Results

Improvement doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up, putting in the work, and trusting the process over time. We believe consistent effort creates lasting results.

Access Matters

Every athlete deserves opportunities to train, develop, and build confidence. Legacy Hoops was created to provide greater access to quality gym space, equipment, and development opportunities for athletes and families throughout our community.

Effort Over Excuses

Talent may open doors, but effort, discipline, and accountability are what drive long-term growth. We encourage athletes to take ownership of their development and focus on the things they can control.

Community & Family

Basketball has a unique ability to bring people together. We strive to create an environment where athletes, parents, coaches, and families feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

Respect for the Game

We believe in teaching and playing the game the right way. Fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others are values that extend far beyond the court.

Building a Legacy

Legacy is about more than basketball.

We believe the lessons learned through sports—hard work, perseverance, accountability, and teamwork—prepare athletes for success long after their playing days are over.

Our goal is to inspire athletes to build their own legacy, whether through basketball, another sport, their career, their family, or their community.

Success isn’t measured solely by points scored or games won. It’s measured by the positive impact we have on the people around us and the example we set for the next generation.

If Legacy Hoops can help motivate even a few people to positively impact the lives of others, then we will have accomplished something truly meaningful.

In the same way Carl Giordana left a lasting impact on so many through his life, our hope is that the athletes and families who walk through our doors are inspired to do the same in their own unique way.
